Thanks for visiting our web site!  We hope you like it and find it useful.  My name is W.D. Taylor.  I was born July 14, 1939 in Hayes, Kansas (Mother said it sure was a hot day).

My dad bought me a horse when I was two years old.  I was raised with a horse between my legs and my feet up off the ground. If it can be done a horse back, I've done it, if it can't, I most likely didn't want to.

I participated in rodeos when I was in high school and college and even joined the PRCA in 1961.  I paid for my first champion (BAYOU BAR) by competing in calf roping and bulldogging.

In the Winter of 1959, I went to the race track in California and saw what horse racing was really like.  Bayou Bar was a 3 year old colt in the year 1965 and it was the beginning of a great career.  Bayou Bar gave me the opportunity to start training and I have spent the last 40 years winning races and making money.

It sure has been good to me and my family.  We have owned, bred and trained three champions, several stake horses and alot of good hard knocking, money making claimers.

God has truly blessed me.  He created alot of good horses and gave me the knowledge and ability to train them.  Without Gods love and blessings I would be nothing.
